Forgot to update.
Suzanne and my mother came home safely last wednesday.
Suzanne currently feeling much better and went outside again
yesterday.
Expect pictures online early this week!

Luckely we have our
suitcases back!
Also Suzanne is doing much better. We hope she and my mom will
come back wednesday.

A short update. We were finally home at about 17:00. About 6
hours later then expected, due to flight delays etc. And now we
are still missing 4 suitcases! :(
Unfortunatly my youngest sister Suzanne and my mother had to stay in
Congo because of Suzanne being to sick to travel. Fortunatly she
is doing better now and we are back home safely.
We thank God for being with us.
Here another update. We all had our vaccinations. My dad left for africa last monday, and is travelling to Zaïre today. Our plane leaves Saturday at 7:25AM and we will meet my saturday evening in Zaïre.
Tomorrow the last day in Holland. Time to pack!
Although its warm in Zaïre it seems to be raining also. Check the weather forecast from Kinshasa (Capital city)

I'll be posting some updates here about this journey.
We all have our passports and visum ready. The Visum cost
90euro's per person!!! Almost all have had their vaccinations (i
still need a few). And we had a few meetings to talk about the
planning of those 2 weeks. We are all very excited and hope this
will be a nice and adventures trip.

Why this trip: Last year I went
back for the first time after 12 years (Read
about that here). But because my brothers and sisters,
mother and the husband of my sister still want see where we
lived we all decided to go there this November.
My parents, Stefan (24), Sara (22) & husband Sander (26), Simon
(20) and Suzanne (18) have the tickets booked so for now its
still a definite GO.
